Aluminium Mobile Scaffold Towers

Mobile Scaffold Tower Hire in Central Coast & Sydney

You too can operate at height safely with Groundbreakers Aluminium Mobile Scaffold Towers.

Our SUPASCAF aluminium towers are manufactured to a WorkCover NSW registered design, and can be used and erected without a scaffolding ticket or certification where the platform height (standing height) does not exceed 4m from ground level. Maximum working height (distance a person hands can reach whilst standing on the top scaffold platform) without a scaffold ticket can be approximately ~6m above ground level (subject to how tall the person is).

Our mobile platforms are on wheels making it fast and simple to move around your project site once erected.

Groundbreakers can customise our aluminium mobile scaffold towers to suit a range of work heights and configurations to meet your project requirements including tight access locations such as stairwells and properties adjacent to narrow fence lines.

Where your project requires a platform above 4m from ground level, Groundbreakers have the ability to erect mobile towers up to a maximum of 9.6m (platform height) above ground level. Make an enquiry with a member of our friendly team and discover the options available.

Our team can deliver, install, relocate and dismantle your mobile scaffold tower on site, including stairwell and staircase setups most yards won’t touch. It’s one of the few combinations of services you’ll find from a single Central Coast hire company.

We hire mobile scaffold towers across the Central Coast, including Gosford, Woy Woy, Terrigal, Wyong, Tuggerah and Berkeley Vale, plus Sydney and the Northern Beaches. See our scaffold hire Central Coast page for the full service area.

Mobile Scaffold Towers FAQs

Can I install a mobile scaffold tower myself?
  • Yes, you can, provided you follow all relevant safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions. Mobile scaffold towers are designed for ease of assembly, but they must be erected correctly to ensure stability and compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1576).
  • If you do not hold accreditation of a scaffold license/ticket, than you can only install a platform height up to a maximum of <4m above ground level.
  • If you’re unsure or working at significant heights, we strongly recommend engaging a qualified person to assist with installation. Safety is paramount, and improper setup can lead to serious injury or legal liability.

  • Groundbreakers have a wide range of mobile tower options to choose from, with platform heights reaching up to 9.6m. Our towers are tailored to suit your project requirements.
  • The main choices are single width towers, which have an internal width of 700mm and are 2500mm in length. Or double width towers which have an internal width of 1300mm and are 2500mm in length.
Will the mobile scaffold tower fit in my location?
  • This all depends on the type of tower chosen. Groundbreakers’ have a few tight access towers which are typically used for voids and tight access spaces such as stairwells, front door voids and between houses.
  • It is always best practice to measure the space in which you will be installing the mobile scaffold tower in.
  • Groundbreakers’ specialise In stairwell installations. If your project requires installation over a staircase, it is best to speak with a member of Groundbreakers’ specialised team.
  • The widest part of a mobile scaffold tower is between the castors (wheels) being the widest distance.
  • Where your tower requires outriggers to support it, the space in which they take up needs to be factored into your measurements.

Can a mobile scaffold tower be moved when erected?

    • Remove all personnel and tools from the platform.
    • Remove any outriggers or stabilisers.
    • Check that all castors are unlocked and in good working order.
    • Avoid sudden movements or uneven terrain that could destabilise the structure.
Can mobile scaffold towers be installed over a stairwell or staircase?
