Excavator hire on the Central Coast, delivered or collected
We deliver and collect across the Central Coast, including Gosford, Erina, Terrigal, Kincumber, Woy Woy, Umina Beach, Wyong, Tuggerah and Berkeley Vale. Outside the Central Coast? Send us the address and we’ll quote delivery.
Towing it yourself? Each machine comes on its own trailer. The U10-5 and trailer weigh about 1,450kg together, and the U17-3 and trailer about 2,000kg, so check your vehicle is rated to tow that. Pick up is from our yard at 60 Glenrock Parade, Koolewong.
What comes with it
- Its own trailer, spare wheel, 20 litre jerry can and wheel chocks
- 300mm and 450mm digging buckets, a 900mm mud bucket and a ripper
- Roll bar (ROPS) and safety beacon
- A walk-through at handover if you’re new to excavators
- A full tank. Bring it back full, or refuelling is $3.85 a litre
- Auger attachment for both machines, and a hammer for the U17-3: ask us for pricing
Need to shift the spoil?
Pair your excavator with our Cormidi C7X mini dumper. It’s 722mm wide, carts the dirt out through the side gate and tips it into a skip or trailer. From $190 a day.

Which mini excavator do I need?
The U10-5 when access is the problem, the U17-3 when you need more depth or more dirt moved. Our mini excavator hire cost guide compares the two side by side.
Will it fit through my side gate?
The U10-5 narrows to 750mm and the U17-3 to 990mm. Measure the narrowest point, including gates, bins and downpipes. Under a metre, take the U10-5. Not sure? Send us a photo.
Do I need a licence to hire a mini excavator in NSW?
No specific licence is needed. Excavators aren’t on SafeWork NSW’s high risk work licence list, but you do need to be competent on the machine, and on a construction site you’ll need a white card. We run you through it at handover.
Is there a half-day rate?
No. We hire by the day, weekend or week.
What if the machine gets damaged?
You’re responsible for repair costs while it’s in your care. We don’t offer a damage waiver. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.
How does the weekend rate work?
Collect from 5pm Friday and bring it back by 5pm Sunday: $340 for the U10-5, $360 for the U17-3.
